At JELD-WEN, we’ve experienced a year of growth, innovation, and collaboration, setting the stage for even greater success in the coming year. JELD-WEN was recognized as a 2024 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year.
We were deeply honored to be named 2024 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for our leadership in creating energy-efficient windows and doors that help lower energy costs for homeowners and reduce the impact on our planet.
We were also proud to announce that 29 JELD-WEN® windows and patio doors made ENERGY STAR’s 2024 Most Efficient list.
Here at JELD-WEN, we value the importance of energy efficiency and remain committed to delivering sustainable solutions — in our products as well as our manufacturing operations.
We were named “Most Trustworthy” by Newsweek for the third year in a row.
In 2024, JELD-WEN was named to the “Most Trustworthy Companies in America” list for the third year in a row by Newsweek, in partnership with Statista, a research company that specializes in market and consumer data.
Newsweek’s most trustworthy companies were selected based on a survey of approximately 25,000 U.S. residents across touchpoints of customer trust, investor trust, and employee trust. The survey evaluated U.S.-headquartered companies with revenue of more than $500 million.
We introduced Second Nature™ eco-friendly interior doors …
In the spring, we launched our Second Nature™ Environmentally Conscious Door Collection. More than 80% of the total weight of each interior door comes from recycled wood fiber (including wood waste reclaimed from our own millwork operations) and/or sustainable wood fiber sourced from certified forests (certified by some names you may know: Forest Stewardship Council® [FSC®], Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification® [PEFC®], Sustainable Forestry Initiative® [SFI®], and American Tree Farm System® [ATFS®]).

… and, in its first year, Second Nature™ won two awards!
We were delighted to see Second Nature™ recognized twice in 2024. Our new collection of eco-friendly interior doors won a Residential Excellence in Design (RED) award in the Products category from Luxe Interiors + Design. And, later in the year, Second Nature was an Architectural Record 2024 Record Products of the Year award winner!
Our Karona® line launched Modern Ventilated Panel Doors.
In 2024, louver doors got a very contemporary upgrade. New Modern Ventilated Panel interior doors from Karona® offer industry-leading continuous air flow (more than twice the air flow of competitor modern louvers), with a sleek, routed design and Shaker-style flat panels that reflect today’s architectural trends.

We partnered with Sherwin-Williams® to revamp our door paint color options.
One of our most exciting projects: We got to work alongside the color experts at Sherwin-Williams® to evaluate our current color offering and add more than ten new, on-trend paint color options for our exterior and interior doors. The new colors are grouped in four beautiful collections: Sustainable Sanctuary, Tranquil Waters, Clay Canyon, and Rustic Retreat. See our new door color options here.
JELD-WEN® windows made a difference for two veterans and their families.
Working with Rebuilding Together of Greater Charlotte and Lowe’s, JELD-WEN donated ENERGY STAR® certified windows and JELD-WEN associates volunteered to make home repairs for the Turpins, a U.S. Army veteran and his wife, whose windows were held together with duct tape.
Later in the year, our Veterans’ Network employee resource group (ERG) partnered with the Gary Sinise Foundation’s R.I.S.E. (Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment) program and donated ENERGY STAR® certified JELD-WEN windows for a new home in California built specifically for a wounded veteran and his family.
We were grateful to participate in both of these efforts to honor and support our country’s veterans.

We were voted Best Energy-Efficient Door and Window Brand by Green Matters.
Nominated by Green Matters’ editorial team and voted into the #1 spot by their readers, JELD-WEN took home a Green Matters Approved Award for Best Energy-Efficient Door and Window Brand. What great news to close out the year!
