Rest assured that JELD-WEN means quality you can trust. Since our founding as a window components maker in 1960, we’ve grown from one millwork operation in Klamath Falls, Oregon, to window and door manufacturing facilities in 16 countries in North America and Europe. We wouldn’t have gotten to this point without creating innovative, attractive, and reliable products — and earning the trust of generations of builders, contractors, and homeowners.
You want to work with a company you trust. Here are five reasons why JELD-WEN is the right choice for you and your clients.
We made the “Most Trustworthy Companies in America” list. Twice.
In 2022 and 2023, JELD-WEN was named to the “Most Trustworthy Companies in America” list by Newsweek, in partnership with Statista, a research company that specializes in market and consumer data. JELD-WEN was voted the top windows and doors company in the construction industry category.
Newsweek’s most trustworthy companies were selected based on a survey of 25,000 U.S. residents across touchpoints of customer trust, investor trust, and employee trust. The survey evaluated a pool of 3,100 U.S.-based companies with revenue of more than $500 million.
For us at JELD-WEN, trust in our products is at the core of our ability to be successful. Being recognized as trustworthy by a national publication is particularly meaningful when the designation is based on consumer insights.
We offer an extensive portfolio of windows, exterior doors, AND interior doors.
Many building pros and remodel/replacement contractors know JELD-WEN for one product category: windows OR interior doors OR exterior doors. Truth is, we design and manufacture one of the largest selections of windows and patio doors, exterior and interior doors, and wall systems in the industry. Our deep bench of product lines makes it possible to offer price points from entry level/starter to high-end luxury.
By offering a wide range of product lines in each category, we can provide the flexible options industry pros need for their projects — from preferred materials to custom sizes, from on-trend colors to architectural design details, from products that meet fire ratings to those suited for HVHZ and coastal applications. When it comes to your projects, JELD-WEN can check the boxes for beautiful, durable doors and windows, plus responsive support.
Virtual calls at your service (and other ways to reach us).
JELD-WEN has dedicated customer care and customer service teams throughout the U.S. You can reach them online or by phone at 1-800-535-3936.
To support pros where they are, we also offer our OnSite Customer Care Program, an online platform for video service calls. If a telephone call can’t resolve the situation, we can send a link to start a virtual, face-to-face session. During the session, one of JELD-WEN’s virtual technicians examines and troubleshoots the product and discusses potential solutions with the customer. If we can’t resolve the issue virtually, a warranty claim is created and a technician dispatched to that job site — with the necessary information and correct replacement parts identified in the virtual call.
Up to 30% of the calls we handle this way can be resolved on the spot, which can save a lot of time and keep projects moving.
The OnSite Customer Care program is a continuation of JELD-WEN’s industry-leading warranties and world-class customer service before, during, and after sales — a feature that contributed to our being named one of America’s most trustworthy companies two years in a row.
We’ve been creating innovative new products for more than 60 years.

We care about the environment, too. And we’re taking action.
JELD-WEN is committed to reducing environmental impact, both in our operations and through the energy efficiency and durability of the products we create.
In our operations, we use motion-activated LED lighting to minimize energy use, prioritize ENERGY STAR® certified equipment when replacing old or inefficient machinery, and have taken steps to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and water use.
Several of our product lines are currently manufactured using some recycled material. All of our window product lines and nearly all of our door product lines include ENERGY STAR® certified options for all climate zones. We also offer use of certified wood for select interior doors.
We have set ambitious environmental goals for 2050, including zero manufacturing waste to landfill, net-zero greenhouse gas emissions, the use of 100% recycled or harvested materials, and sourcing 100% of our wood sustainably or from certified forests. You can read more about our goals and our progress in our latest ESG report.
